If you have ever thought about photographing wildlife then you may have to consider that you may great frustrated on some days when the weather doesn't help, the wildlife doesn't come out to pose for your camera or that people suddenly appear to disturb the bird or animal that you have been storking for an hour.

On the other side it develops your patience, understanding of the bird/ mammal and its requirements which eventually brings its rewards.

Wildlife photography is inherently difficult - more so that a posed portrait or a produce. Planning and research is key as well as getting to know when and where you will find your subject .

Keeping you camera ready at all times is often key to getting a photograph as you may only have a minute to get your shot which you wont get if the camera is still in the bag. Blending into your background is another.

It isn't impossible to get a great photo that you will treasure and give an insight into the often unseen moments of their natural lives.
